Posted by Michelle Tremolada on: 2005-07-02 00:45:07

CMYK

CMYK is the 4 color process used by commercial printers all over the world. The letters stand for: C=Cyan, M=Magenta, Y=Yellow and K=Black = CMYK.

All digital photos and most scanned photos are automatically saved as RGB. This color model is not acceptable for printing, and all RGB photos must be changed to CMYK before sending to a printer.

Do you want a good quality print - your photos must be saved in the CMYK format!

Don't stay in the Dark about what is the correct color model....learn about the CMYK color model and how if effects your photos. This easy step-by-step guide covers topics such as: changing photo resolution, converting JPEG to a TIFF format and the correct color models (CMYK or RGB).

Learn how to easily convert your current RGB files to CMYK in just 1 simple step. It is THAT SIMPLE.
