Make Editing Executable File Resources Easier and Faster

Posted by Yuri Rai on: 2005-09-16 19:29:11

If you need to update existing resources, or add new ones for several hundred executable files (such as .EXE, .DLL, Device Drivers, OCX Controls), you are more than likely going to want some way to implement this with a batch file. Whenever large numbers of files have to be processed or to be accessible through scripting, you need Resource Tuner Console.

A number of GUI products are available (PE Explorer for example), but a command-line resource editor takes the drudgery out of manual editing and repetitive tasks. All the functionality of Resource Tuner Console can be called from within your VBScript. At the final stage of your build process, now you can edit strings in and work in multiple languages. Resource Tuner Console accepts input from a script file and supports VBScript, Unicode and multi-byte character sets. No more struggling with OEM/ANSI code pages. Make your applications and data operable and accessible in different languages. Resource Tuner enables you to customize any application by editing and replacing string resources and icons within large numbers of files.

Resource Tuner Console runs on Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2000/XP. It also supports Windows 2003 Server. Resource Tuner Console is priced at US$199.00 for the Single Developer License. You can purchase Resource Tuner Console securely online at http://www.heaventools.com. A fully functional 30 day evaluation version is available from the same web address. Sample scripts illustrated the new features can be found within the Resource Tuner Console package.
