Mobile Car Washing at Corporations

Posted by By Lance Winslow IV  on: 2005-07-17 15:55:25

If you are considering a mobile car wash as a business, you may wish to wash where the most amount of high paying customer are. This would be at a modern day corporation. From 9 am to 11 am and from 1:30 pm to 4 pm you have an encapsulated market and steady customer base. But how will you go about selling such a great account? First schedule an appointment with the human resource director.

How do you get the name of the human resource director at the largest nearby corporations? Well sit down at Starbucks and wait until someone comes in with a name badge, read it, decide if you believe that might be a good company to wash at. Some corporations can generate $500 to $1000.00 per week for car washing and detailing depending on the days you choose for service and the weather. Ask the employee if they know the name of the Human Resource director and if they have on-site car washing there.

Here is a sample sales letter, which may help you get that account. I recommend you modify this letter to fit you business, call up the Human Resource Director and then fax it to them and ask for an appointment.

Attention: Human Resources

With unemployment rates this low throughout the area, employee retention and recruitment has become a major challenge. After discussing this situation with one of your Human Resource staff members recently while in line at Starbucks, we thought that mobile on site car washing might be an excellent addition to your current solutions. Have you ever tried to get your car washed during your lunch break? Forget it! Or on your day off, would you rather spend it with friends, family or washing that car?

I was told to submit a proposal to you company, attention Human Resources. We can wash all your employee’s cars each week for only $4.00. If you wanted to go deluxe we could give them a wash and vacuum for only $10.00. We can bill your company monthly.

This kind of program would certainly spark the interest of your employees who are challenged to maintain the high quality of life they were promised when they got that degree, moved to the area and picked your company as their number one choice of a great place to work. Employee relations must be maintained to keep productivity at an all time high and quarterly profits up. We want to be part of your team and help you achieve all your goals and objectives while simultaneously allowing your employees to feel that this is their family too. Such an employer sponsored incentive would be a major departure and upgrade from anything else being offered by any other progressive company in the area.

Let us know what you think. I know your staff member’s car was dirty, but judging by our conversation that day, I doubt if they’ve had time to wash it yet. So, maybe we can wash their car as a free demo. Looking forward to joining your team.
