Hurricane Dennis

Dear Public, please do not underestimate the power of Hurricane Dennis the Menace. He is still growing and now has Category III Hurricane Status, this is a powerful Hurricane indeed. Dennis currently has become much more organized and is growing in strength. With winds sustained at 115 miles per hour he is a force to be reckoned with.

As Dennis passes Cuba the mountains on the island may slow down the Hurricane briefly, but it is well organized enough to reform quickly and reform into its full potential and once it clears Cuba and enters the warmer waters of the Gulf as it heads northward it will gain strength and could pose a serious threat to the United States and unfortunately also the Gulf’s Oil Platforms and our Oil Distribution system. This could cause gasoline prices to spike due to mandatory evacuations.

We must not underestimate the force of such a menace of Mother Nature. Dennis is a problem child and he definitely needs some Prozac about now. If the Hurricane stays away from land in Florida it will have ample time to grow and create its own weather as it tightens. Tropical Storm Cindy has made much of the ground wet in the Southern US states of Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia and the panhandle of Florida. Hurricane Ivan personified as Ivan the Terrible taught us to not underestimate such storms and currently Dennis the Menace is causing havoc our neighboring Caribbean countries, but is moving quickly into much warmer waters and this could be significant. Stay alert and play it safe. Think on this.
